Swedish Meatballs
Mix:
- 2lb ground beef
- 1/2 onion, chopped (about 1/2C)
- 1/2C toasted bread crumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1t salt
- 1/4t pepper
- 1t garlic powder
- 1t allspice
- 1t nutmeg
Shape into meatballs. Fry in olive oil and butter. Remove when
browned on all sides and cooked through; cover with tinfoil.
To oil and butter in pan add:
- 2C heavy cream
- 1/2C flour
Heat and mix until it thickens. Then add some water to thin it
out. Add the meatballs back, let them warm up. Serve with pasta.
