Nut-Cheese Sauce
In a blender combine:
- 4C water
- 0.5C lemon juice
- 4 large roasted red peppers
- 2C cashews (or almonds)
- 4T onion powder
- 1C nutritional yeast
- 3T salt
Start the blender slowly, then ramp up to high. Blend on high for a
long time, like 7min. Needs a blended powerful enough tto handle
the nuts.
Makes enough sauce for about 4lb pasta. Can go well with (vegan) sausage and/or cabbage.
